hi! sorry but, it looks like you may be selling heat-treated amethyst as citrine? its a super common misconception, made by big shops that wanted to sell amethyst at higher prices (and google searching for heat treated amethyst vs citrine will show you how different citrine actually looks). so i get why it happened but i just wanted to let you know! thanks for your time ^-^ and sorry again for the trouble!
Hi! Thanks for pointing that out! It is true; many of the crystals labelled as citrine are actually heated amethyst rather than natural citrine. Natural citrine is much more rare of a crystal and is more of a brown/honey color. I always include in the description of my “citrine” items that the citrine is heated amethyst, however, I use the citrine name because of convenience for others to find what they are looking for and this is another name often referred to the crystal.
